Kelowna’s Downtown is the historic centre of our city. It includes destinations like historic Bernard Avenue, City Park, Prospera Place, the Community Theatre, our library’s main branch and a multitude of other recreational, shopping and entertainment destinations. It is or largest employment centre, and more and more people are choosing to live Downtown to enjoy all that it has to offer. It has the fastest growing population and is the city’s largest employment centre.

New housing options are being added quickly, making it easier for people to live closer to their work and favorite spots. The "Meet Me on Bernard" program and skating at Stewart Park have made Downtown more popular in both summer and winter. More people are also working Downtown as new office spaces fill up. Looking ahead, we're starting a new Downtown Transportation Plan and exploring new park opportunities through our Parks Master Plan. As Downtown continues to grow, we want to hear from residents about other ways to improve the neighborhood
