Steering the future of transportation in Kelowna

4 November 2020

During the latest phase of engagement for our Transportation Master Plan, residents took the planner’s seat and provided feedback on projects, policies and programs that will help shape how we move around our city now and into the future.

An interactive, online transportation budgeting exercise was available from Nov. 18 to Dec. 6 and had approximately 1,600 submissions.

Prize winner

Participants had an opportunity to enter the prize draw for a chance to win $750 to a Kelowna bicycle shop of their choice. The prize winner has been drawn and the winner contacted.

Geoff from Kelowna won the random draw and chose Cyclepath Kelowna as his preferred store.

Congratulations to Geoff, and thank you to everyone who took time to participate and share input on how Kelowna's transportation projects should be prioritized.

Next steps

Next steps include a technical evaluation to develop recommended transportation projects, policies and programs, which will be informed by public input.

Stay tuned for more project updates and the full engagement report, which will be available in the new year.
