Steer the direction of the Transportation Master Plan

4 November 2020

Residents are invited to provide input online and in person on the draft vision and goals for Kelowna’s Transportation Master Plan, which will guide strategic transportation investments the City will make over the next 20 years.

The survey will launch on March 26 and be open online until April 15 at getinvolved.kelowna.ca.

Staff will be available to discuss the plan and answer questions at two upcoming open house events:

Thursday, April 5

4 – 6:30 p.m.

Capital News Centre (4105 Gordon Drive)

Saturday, April 7

12 – 2 p.m.

Orchard Park Shopping Centre, near the Gap and Purdy’s (2271 Harvey Avenue)

“The plan’s draft vision and goals were developed based on best practices and public input generated through extensive engagement for the Imagine Kelowna community visioning process,” said Mariah VanZerr, Strategic Transportation Planning Manager. “Since the vision and goals will form the foundation of the plan and be used to inform investment priorities, this is a key time for the public to get involved in shaping the future of our transportation network.”

The plan, strategies and implementation approach are expected to be delivered in 2019. Additional opportunities for public input will be on-going throughout the two-year planning process.
