The City is creating the first neighbourhood park for the Tower Ranch development called Tallgrass Park. Before the design is finalized, we wanted to hear what you think of the proposed design.

Proposed design

The park development plans include a playground, small entry plaza, pathways, park furnishings, terracing, signage, landscaping and irrigation.

Next steps

City staff and the design consultant will review survey responses and synthesize the data into themes from most commented on to least. The park construction is scheduled to begin Spring 2022. Respondent feedback in addition to design best practices, amenities elsewhere in the neighbourhood and existing policy guidelines for neighbourhood level parks will inform the final design of the new park.
