About this project

Planning is underway for a thoughtful redesign and restoration of Summit Park in the Dilworth neighbourhood.

The Park is being re-designed to accommodate the upcoming expansion of Summit Reservoir which will better meet the needs of the growing neighbourhood and increase water resources for firefighting.

In order to expand the reservoir several trees will need to be removed and the Park will be temporarily closed throughout construction (Mar. 2024 - early 2025).

Potential new park ammenities include a restored playground, trails and a seating areas where families, friends, and neighbours can connect.
