About the program

Parks play a major role in the social and physical well-being of Kelowna's citizens; these public spaces offer both passive and active recreational activities, are accessible to people of diverse ages and abilities, and contribute to our community's sense of identity. The City is working on new park projects to enhance neighbourhoods, promote accessibility and benefit quality of life.

In 2025, the City sought public feedback to help inform the designs of two park projects:

  • Aurora Park
  • Rutland Lions Park
