Bike to Work &School Week encourages residents to use a bicycle for everyday transportation. Events are held during the last week of May each year, as well as one week in the fall and one day during the winter. Participants can sign up either as individuals or as part of a workplace team, led by a team leader.

In 2019, more than 2,300 Central Okanagan residents registered for the event and traveled 91,500 kilometres by bike, saving nearly 20,000 kilograms of greenhouse gases.
