The new design is more service-oriented. Services have been directly integrated into the search, meaning that access to a service is now just a click away.
The new sites, which include ylw.kelowna.ca and theatre.kelowna.ca, are also mobile responsive, making it easy to locate the service or information from any mobile device.
In 2016, the City website received more than 5.6 million page views, which is approximately 15,300 page views per day, every day. This high level of use was the motivation to improve the user experience for one of the City’s most visited sites.

We have rebuilt and redesigned all City owned and operated websites including kelowna.ca, ylw.kelowna.ca, theatre.kelowna.ca, smartTRIPS.ca, cordemergency.ca.
We are releasing this survey to build on our research for creating an improved, more service-friendly online experience for our residents and visitors.
The new websites were launched on Dec. 13, 2016.
