Are you considering redeveloping a property in Kelowna? If you are considering developing your property within the next ten years, we want to hear from you! As part of the City’s 2040 Official Community Plan update, we are requesting ideas for future growth.

How Do I Submit My Idea?
If you have an idea for redeveloping your property, you can fill out the submission form below, outlining what the property is being used for now and what kind of future development you feel could optimize your land and enhance your neighbourhood.

The City of Kelowna will use that information to help develop a new land use plan that will guide future development. A draft plan will be developed in 2019 and at that time you will be notified if your idea was incorporated.

What type of land is not included in this idea generator?
Through the Imagine Kelowna consultation we heard that Kelowna should protect agricultural land and concentrate on growing vibrant urban centres and limit urban sprawl. The City has a Permanent Growth Boundary to focus growth within those boundaries. Therefore, ideas to re-develop agricultural lands or lands outside of the Permanent Growth Boundary are not being considered through this idea generator.

Deadline:
If you are an interested property owner or a representative, you can submit your idea by October 31, 2018.
