We're committed to ensuring a healthy, safe, active and inclusive community.

Our vision is that Kelowna's dynamic sport system will inspire lifelong participation in sport, improve residents' quality of life and strengthen our community. We want everyone to enjoy sports and physical activity regardless of their skill level, physical abilities or resources.

Review the Kelowna Community Sport Plan, presented to Council on August 27.

More than 50 sport organizations and advisory groups have provided their input through surveys and a town hall. We're now seeking your opinion on our draft guiding principles, strategic goals and ideas for action items to help achieve our vision.

Feedback was collected until Friday, January 19 and used to influence the Community Sport Plan.

The outcome of the Community Sport Plan will also lead to increased collaboration, planning and execution of quality sport programs across sectors and at all stages of the Canadian Sport for Life continuum. It will contribute to facility development plans and event procurement strategies that will provide a more coordinated approach to sport development.
