Care For Our Kids: Parent / Guardian Survey

DEADLINE EXTENDED TO FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 1st!

If you’re a parent or guardian of children aged 0-12, we'd love to hear from you!

Thank-you for taking the time to provide information that will help us better understand the state of child care in the Central Okanagan.

Care For Our Kids is a child care research project for the Central Okanagan. It’s being conducted by Urban Matters CCC and led by the District of Lake Country, City of Kelowna, City of West Kelowna, District of Peachland, Childhood Connections and Westbank First Nation.

Through research and information collection via focus groups, interviews, and a large workshop, an Action Plan will be completed by February 2020. This Action Plan will be a guide for the Province to help improve child care in the Central Okanagan.

Community input and your lived experience are needed to drive improvements for the future of child care. For the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) to understand why and where to invest in future child care programs, they need to understand the challenges you currently experience.

Note: If you require assistance understanding the different types of child care programs (for question 14), please click here for a list of definitions.
